Membership Terms and Conditions

All current and new members agree to abide by all rules set forth for the clubhouse, pool, and golf course, and guest when on the premises. The minimum age for membership in the Center Country Club is 21. No pets are allowed on the premises except for handicapped assisted animals. All fees and assessments are subject to change without prior written notice.

Stockholder Membership

Stockholder Membership - $1,000.00 stock purchase fee plus regular monthly dues. There is one (1) vote per stockholder membership with the voting privilege being designated to the Primary Member.  The member as well as his or her immediate family members will be granted access and use to all areas of the facility.  There is a minimum monthly food and beverage assessment.  Applicable fees and rules for the clubhouse, golf course, golf cart sheds, pool and guests will be assessed. If the member elects to resign and/or is removed for disciplinary reasons, a maximum refund of $500.00 or 50% of the value of the stock whichever is the greater will be refunded to the member. This refund will be subject to any and all assessments having been paid current. If outstanding charges exist, the charges will be deducted from the membership fee with the remaining balance sent to the member.

Junior Membership

Junior Membership - $150.00 non refundable fee plus regular monthly dues.  This membership is deemed to be non-stockholder membership with no voting privileges. There is a minimum monthly food and beverage assessment.  Junior membership age eligibility with family members will be determined by the oldest person in the family. Individuals under the age of 21 are not eligible. The term of this membership will commence at the age of 21 and cease at age 35. Those current junior members who are below the age of 21 will be grandfathered and not subject to the new minimum age limit. The junior member as well as his or her immediate family members will be granted full access and use of the facility.  At age 35 the junior member can elect to convert his or her membership to an Stockholder Membership with the $150.00 being credited towards the cost of the membership. Stock must be transferred to the Stockholder Membership before end of age 35 with an additional $850.00 to be paid to become a voting stockholder member.  The additional cost may be financed for a maximum term of eight (8) months with the approval of the board of directors. The minimum monthly payment will be $100.00. Open air golf cart sheds will be available on a first come basis to junior members at no cost.  Locked cart sheds will be available on a first come basis with a one (1) time payment of $475.00 (non-refundable) plus a monthly fee.

Social Membership

Social Membership - $250.00 non -refundable fee plus regular monthly dues.  There is a minimum monthly food and beverage assessment.  The member and their guest’s access will be limited to the clubhouse and pool areas only during regular hours of operation.   This is non-stockholder membership with no voting privileges. The member may apply the $250.00 towards a Stockholder Membership if he/she wants full facility access and use. The additional cost of $750.00 to become a voting stockholder member may be financed for a maximum term of eight (8) months with the approval of the board of directors. The minimum monthly payment will be $100.00.  All regular monthly dues and assessments will become effective for the member in the month following the status change. 

 

Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership - $1,000.00 membership fee plus regular monthly dues. There is one (1) vote per corporation for the designated member. The membership and his/her family will be granted full access and use of the facility. The corporation may add up to four (4) additional members under this membership at a cost of $250.00 per member.  The additional members will not have voting privileges but will have full access and use of the facility. Each and every member will be responsible for his or her monthly dues and assessments. Current corporate members are eligible to add up to four (4) additional members under this membership plus the monthly dues and assessments. The $250.00 membership fee is non - refundable.

A current individual member who owns and/or operates a corporation is eligible to transfer their current membership to a corporate membership under the same terms and conditions as long as the membership is in good standing.

 If the corporate member elects to convert his or her membership to a Stockholder Membership, the member will receive a credit of $250.00 towards the cost of the new membership with an additional $750.00 to be paid to become a voting member. This additional cost may be financed for a maximum term of eight (8) months with the approval of the board of directors. The minimum monthly payment will be $100.00

If the designated corporate member elects to resign and/or is removed for disciplinary reasons, a maximum refund of $500.00 or 50% of the value of the stock, whichever is the greater will be refunded to the member. This refund will be subject to any and all assessments having been paid current. If outstanding charges exist, the charges will be deducted from the membership fee with the remaining balance sent to the member.  

The additional members will be required to convert his or her corporate membership to the appropriate membership at this time along payment of any additional fees due. If the member does not convert to another membership, his or her corporate membership will be cancelled.

Inactive Status

A member who is in good standing must request an Inactive Status in writing along with their justification to the Board of Directors for approval. Verbal requests will not be accepted. A member must meet the following criteria before they will be eligible for an Inactive Status: 1) unable to use the facility for a period of 6 months or longer, 2) move from the area more than 100 miles and for a period of 6 months or longer. The member will be assessed a minimum monthly fee during the inactive status period. The Board of Directors reserves the right to review the membership as needed to determine if the Inactive Status is warranted.
